Easy Installation
The stone-coated steel panels are easily installed to either a wood or steel batten grid, creating a lightweight, interlocking armor that provides a combination of properties unmatched by other roofing products.
Sturdy Construction
Wind resistant up to 120 mph and Class "A" Fire rated, the Gerard roof system has been performance proven under all climatic extremes and meets the rigorous UL 2218 Class 4 hail standard. In earthquake-prone areas, the Gerard roofing system adds additional structural shear strength resistance.
Lightweight
At only 1.4 lb. per square foot, Gerard's Stone-Coated steel roofing system is extrememly lightweight. Its unique properties make it the only material that can successfully encapsulate an existing asbestos roof. This process saves the customer the excessive cost of asbestos removal.
